"Packing Heat"-March 1st, 2006-18:32
Mood:
Current Issue in the relationship? Lack of Communication or "One Way Communication"(no that doesn't work)
I hope this settles itself out on her Spring Break...which is next week? I should look into that one....
Is it just me, or the second one gets into a relationship other girls
"come out of the woodwork and declare themselves single and interested.
Oh Britany....you missed it by a week....Dani? You missed it by 3
months...and it was mostly my fault....and I'm going to stop talking
about this. I'm not going anywhere. I don't cheat. Ever
Packing the Lappy is a nice thing. Of course it doesn't get a signal on
the 3rd floor of this building and that means you actually have to pay
attention during Psych Stats....meh. We looked over the exams...I
killed on the Zed Scores.....of course when that's only worth 10
marks...that doesn't mean an overall kill.
The Sociological CRM project is coming along fine. I just need to
finish off my section and get Mandeep's...I should run my Kwantlen.net
account to see if I have anything in that...I shouldn't, I have
them forwarded to my hotmail account.
There's an assignment for Psych Stats? Oh, yeah...right...
I'll have to say it...I am tired...like a "too the bone" tired...I hope
I can get up tomorrow...I should rent "Walk the Line" tonight....I have
nothing better to do...
Note: What was up with the servers earlier? I couldn't get on...

"Quiet Times"-March 1st, still...just around 22:51
Mood: Moody? I
don't know
Um, yeah, this one is that type of entry where I open up a window and start
typing and see where it takes me or I take it. Usually it's the first one
because I don't really think I'm in absolute control. I can get the Power Point
done in less than an hour, but I want to tweak it with all those animation
effects. I worked with that really panoramic fade in...Ooooer. That and I have
to prep two Psych assignments. Those Crim Psych books should get renewed as
well. Lots of things to do. I shouldn't feel that bad about not connecting with
Elizabeth right
now, we're both busy. It's open to debate who is more busy. A grade 12 work
load might beat mine, but probably not if you factor in the work and the fact
everything is "Crammed" into 4 months.
For some reason my MSN Tag reads : "This distance kills me, the absence
chills me...what the hell is this going to become? What will become of
me?"
Yeah, I put it there....like earlier this morning...now I have no idea what I
was actually attempting to reference. To tell you the truth, it doesn't sound
that bad and might creep its way into some fiction I may or may not write.
Being happy isn't exactly conductive to brooding creativity.
Hmmm, I thought "High School Musical" would be something cool...like
Avenue Q, "Once More with Feeling" or Tick Tick...BOOM!....Nope, I
saw a preview for it and it's pretty much what it says...A musical set in a
high school about high school things...not even being funny or sarcastic. James
Kirk's "Clue: The Musical" was better....and you know it takes a lot
for me to praise him. Elizabeth
does have horrible taste in men...I don't think of myself as the end of the
trend...just a continuation....
Hmmm, was that sarcastic? I don't know...she is well aware of the opinion of
the "men"(Oh Yeah, that's in quotes) she has had "Crushes"
on...(that's in quotes too)...
I'm going to bed....screw it...been a longish day...

"Full Deployment"-March 4th, 2006-9:24
Mood:
Under normal circumstances I'd switch shifts with Britany....her
morning for my night, but considereing I've already made lunch
plans...nope. That and I don't want to work two morning shifts in a
row...
This is why I'm up. (sigh)
as Gary Oldman would say "EVERYONE" is in this weekend(Well, not
EVERYONE) but being Oscar weekend we're expected to do brisk business.
I've been thinking up combinations to get people to rent two
movies....Crash and Walk the Line? Walk the Line and North Country?
North Country and Pride and Predujice? All Oscar Films...maybe not for
best, but Capote comes out next week. Brokeback won't be out for a
while.
Mmmm, lunch date with Elizabeth...Sushi. I don't think I've held her
since Valentines due to the sickness that went around. Work at 5...so
we have some time to hang...
Mmmm, done...Imma Go shower up...
Gross, said Strong Bad...

"Faux Management"-March 5th, 2006-12:00
Mood: Good, but tired.
Sushi was great, a mix of Cucumber and California.
Oh my girl knows how to use chopsticks. Meeeow.
We rented Camp, which was finally in...another one of those musical camp/teenage
gay coming of age thing we always seem to rent. Elizabeth introduces me to movies I wouldn't
usually see...and I can transfer that into my work. Mmmm, I haven't held her
since Valentines, so it was really nice this afternoon. However, we had to cut
it close and I dressed for work, walked her home and went to work. I met a
family friend...apparently the father has known him for 50 some odd years. I'll
say it again....I hate meeting her family just because they know 99% thing
about me...and I know nothing about them. Oh well, I'm charming and quick on my
feet when I need to be.
Speaking of work, I think this has been of the best Saturday heavy shifts I've
ever worked.....Highest Combos(against everybody else), no stupid people and no
stupid problems. Because we all had to dress up to support the Oscars, a lot of
people assumed I was the manager...that's because when I dress up, I really
push it. Drew dressed like a Green Lantern Pimp...I can't compete with that.
Mmmm, Jarhead and new Harry Potter...perks perks perks...
This was such a nice day...a quiet morning, nice lunch, some loving and
a nice
long shift...oh and Portman on SNL...yeah, it's not that good...but she
was
cute in the first skit...maybe she'll pick it up in the end bit. Oh, I
love the short hair...and we all know how much I like short
hair...Meeow...
Edit: Oh Boy did she pick it up...Just like "Lazy Sunday" another SNL
Digital Short has Natalie breaking out in a full rap. That is the
greatest thing I have seen on TV in a long time...I hope it gets to be
as big as "lazy sunday"...

"So..."-March 5th, 2005-22:47
Mood: Tired...
That's what I get for working two shifts back to back...I know that's not
rough, but it's something I'm not used to . At least since my H/O Days.
Not much to say about today. Normal Sunday morning shift, full of returns. So
many returns...they never stop...the horror...the horror. Now you know
why so many CSRs are burnt-out...so jaded...
Yeah, that was actually funny earlier this morning...
I wasn't really in the mood to sit down and watch the Oscars. All of the
highlights are on Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and E-Talk Daily...so
I'm not missing anything. I wonder how the work Oscar Pool is going to go?
Other than that, I'm out. I have to get some of those Social Psych Modules
done...I'll go in early tomorrow...or at that's the plan...

"Well...this is a little...uncommon..."-March 7th, 2006-12:12
Mood: Tired(again)
Hmmm, when I say "after 1pm" on tuesdays...that doesn't actually mean
1 O clock exactly. I manage. But 1 on a tuesday afternoon? We're going to be
dead! We're dead at 5 on a tuesday! Still...work is work. Maybe Elizabeth will drop by.
She seems to think I'm there all the time whether or not I'm working(Who am I?
Britany?!)...maybe I should start telling her my hours...I do...I just don't
think it registers. Most of the time I don't even know when I'm working until I
glance at my notebook and panic.
So, has hell froze over yet?
-Cleric has a girlfriend-
I always thought there would be a tangible difference between single Cleric and
attached Cleric(Yeah, I'm still figuring out the right wording…apparently I’m
not single…but I’m dating?...and I don't owe Elizabeth a dollar because I
haven't said the "R Word"* Anyway, I don't feel difference. I'm still
me. I still like all the things I said in that "I Like" entry
a while back. Maybe there is a difference, I'm just not calibrated to detect
it. I don't really care.
Parentals have requested "Walk the Line" tonight. I was going to rent
"Just Friends" as well, but considering I have to do that Stats
Assignment and the Psychopathy Assessment Project this week, I'll not rent
anything. Maybe I'll buy Rent if we PV it. Drew and I are eagerly awaiting that
day. Again, I work with drama geeks...that what you get when the manager is a
drama geek...it filters down.
Mmmm. Jarhead and Harry Potter are out today. I liked Jarhead...The
"Platoon" for The Gulf War...I didn't get into the new Harry Potter
movie. I haven't read any of the books and have a muggle's understanding of
most things(like the word Muggle)....My mum has read them all. How does
Potter's glasses stay on during the water scenes? Magic? That can't be your answer
for everything. I can get the guy who turns into a shark, I can get the cats
and the moving paintings....but he needed some type of strap to keeps those
things on. Oh, it takes a while, but you can so tell that's Ralph Fiennes...it's
in the eyes and the chin...he didn't even have a nose in this one.
I'll say it again, I've been getting some odd shifts lately...the 1-6 just
baffles me...or that 1-5 a few saturdays ago. It felt like I didn't do
anything.
Hmmm, that's it...I might get something to eat before work...nothing to
heavy...
Done...
-Cleric
*That is a blatant Angel reference...I can't believe Elizabeth likes the Lilah/Wes Relationship
better than the Fred/Gunn relationship...*

"Fallacy Remix"-March 8th, 2006-13:10
Mood: Ugh
Well, the 1-6 shift is nice...I put on "That Thing You Do"* until
Graeme wanted to rent it. Of course he likes that movie: the drummer is the
hero.
All I have to say is I can't be held responsible for what one CSR at another
store says to a customer...we might be one company, but we're not that
interdependent. I hate 715 so much more now...besides the fact they wouldn't
hire me twice...I should really let that one go now. I get on with most other
stores...740 and 751 especially...oh and 743...but that's me...
Omar and I attempted to do the Stats Assignment over TeamSpeak last
night(that's to Pyro's technical knowledge)...yeah, I wasn't in the mood...so
we decided that we would sleep on it and tackle it a couple hours before class.
I got mine done**...we're probably just going to go over it.
Don't worry about the title, I just like the way it sounds.
I get the weekend off(huttah!) and Elizabeth is on Spring Break. The sad thing
is any time Elizabeth gets some school related break, mum and Pyro do as
well...so besides being able to pretty much go out with my girl any day over
the next two week...I have to put up with my brother and mum being home ALL
day. God Forbid the next two mondays where all three(mum, dad, Pyro) of them get a day off and
I'm off to Social Psych...
Looking back at it, dropping Poli Sci to concentrate on Psych Stats wasn't the
best idea ever. I would have liked to have a half decent Poli Sci mark to
balance out a fail in Psych Stats. Now I'll probably have to retake both in the
fall...but that rounds out 3 courses(Intro Philo) to set up a full time
semester in the fall as I'm going to take the summer off academically and focus
on my work, my career(volunteer stuff I guess) and me...which means running and
swimming...and more running...Elizabeth says she needs to lose weight(nope, she
doesn't) but running isn't her thing as she has asthma...too bad...running
dates are awesome...or so I've heard...Oh, did I mention she loves Mario Kart
64? Yeah, that is attractive. Not only does she love it, she claims to be quite
good at it. I say "claims" because I haven't seen her play, but I
promised to break out the N64 next time she's over....
I take things WAY too personally...like those ads for video services where you
mail away for them? Yeah, The Firm has one...and I know some people who use
it...and then burn them...oh, let's just say my cousin shouldn't have told me
that last Christmas...and "The Blue Menace"...I should stop calling
them that. I also get offended when people shoplift...I've been told not to,
it's not healthy...but let me tell you I'm not the only one.
I watched "Walk the Line" last night...very good. I swear Joaquin has
some sort of prosthetic on to play Cash...but he doesn't...he just
looks...different...
It's that time of year...the drop date has past and it's pick it up or
fail...and I'm picking up...but I'm also stressed...but I'm not stressed...I'm
in that weird limbo where I have no idea how I actually feel about
anything. Yeah, I don't get it either...but that's how I work. Oh, I run
on Guilt and Fear. I'm also not the only one at work that arrives
everyday(especially when Meg is working) and I wonder "What am I going to
do to get fired today?" Fear is a powerful tool...
I'm in absolute scrubs*** today:
No contacts
No Gel
3/4 Length coat
but I don't care. I'll be up all night doing the Psychopathy assignment anyway.
I've been waiting for someone to phone work and ask for that movie we
watched...I know Welsh says we should have it, but I'll tell you we
don't...unless it's attached to "Monster"...
Omar is late...meh, I could really care less....it's just how stats makes me
feel. I go home very angry and feel like punching things, but that usually goes
away by itself.
Ugh, done....
-Cleric
*Only movie I know for sure there are no swears in it...
**Done? Yes! Right? Nope!
*** It means dressed ratty...I don't know where I got it from...that song?

"Netrual Wording"-March 9th, 2006-4:44
Mood:
Sigh...done...done the Psychopathy Assessment...I'll be ready for the Hinckley one coming up. Psych Stats makes me angry...lets
stop there...
I think this is the first all nighter of the semester. I've lost the touch for
them...sad to say sleeping patterns do hurt...
Class is at 10...work at 5...
Elizabeth and I have plans set up for the weekend...no, I can't rent Harry
Potter on the weekend...but we'll work it out. Oh she really like the sushi at
Hatto's...so much so she talked her parents into getting take out. Oooer.
Oh Doc Welsh...King of all the academic dorks...Top of the pile with the
Ph.d...the "student" name on the sample assignment is "Tyler
Durden"...This is why Doc Welsh is one of my fav profs. Huey and Rideout
are all up there too...Friessen? Yeah...all the rest I can't pass judgment
on...or I don't want to comment. Froc is cool...just not right now...
If only I was preppy enough to wear a collared shirt with a sweater...I'm
working on it...
Done...
