Breach=LockDown- May 1st,2007-12:33

Breach. Fantastic. Five Days and counting.

Fracture and Indian food. At least we didn't see Condemned or Vacancy. I'm only going to say this once: I Didn't really care about Heroes tonight. I can always pick it up later.

Pause for the silence.

So what have we learned from Operation: Twilight*?

Don't tell anyone, anything ever.

I like that lesson.

Later today? I'll get some things done. Mostly cleaning related. I'm in that mood and it's not the best mood to be in.

I guess *edited for facebook* isn't so edited anymore. I shouldn't be surprised. I'm not the most covert person in the world even though I like to think so. I would have liked to "Settle" it on my terms and I didn't get to do that.

I'm also an idiot for proceeding in the first place...A guy can dream can't he?

Oh...It's the "i"s you have to watch for. A universal sign for unpleasantness.

*A little sad but it's alright, we are always living in the twilight....

"Hmmm"-May 3rd, 2007-2:51

Wow, I went to bed a decent hour and I was up at a decent hour. Bonus: I'm still up. Woo.

Though, the "French Press Fulla Coffee" and the liter of water aren't doing me a lick of good.

Most of the day has been wasted with CoH. 2 Bubs short of 40. 10 Levels short of glory. 1 lvl short of mastery powers. Bitchin'. I've been having some connection problems since Issue 9 went live a couple days ago. I hope they're not related.

I hate Much Music, but even I have to watch Feist on MoD. I hate MoD, but love Feist.

I admit I was a little cold to Staci Tuesday Night. Of course Saint raised the fact if Britany is the leak that Britany could have mangled up my intentions something fierce and I should realize Staci isn't the one to blame. I am. For someone who seems to have everyone's best interest in mind, Britany doesn't...terribly spiteful and selfish person sometimes. The Firm does not revolve around her and a couple of us can go out without her. Though, we should have brought Staci to "Fracture." She would have enjoyed it and I wouldn't have been so cold to her on Tuesday. I'm tempted to write a note on her account(like we all go, believe me I have 10+ heroes and/or Stargate notes on mine) but th

at would be a lame way to settle it. Meaning it's perfect for me.

"French Press Fulla Coffee" is better than "Wagon Fulla Pamcakes"

Done.

"Leaving"-May 4th, 2007-3:17

The most planned Ad Hoc event was the Spiderman 3 Midnight Showing. I remember talking to Omar about getting tickets after the Abnormal Psych final, but he never actually told me he got them.

These big first night showings always feel like the first day of high school. Besides the fact most of the people are below 18 years of age, it's that excited atmosphere then you begin to notice familiar faces. A large Firm contingent was there. I should have invited Staci if I had the wherewithal to do so. She would have had fun.

The Spiderman movies have gotten progressively better, but it almost felt like Crash in that we had to keep 5+ stories straight. Saint was quite happy with the film's James Franco Quotient and I remembered why I liked Kirsten Dunst. She's just so darn cute. She almost pulled a Portman*. Topher Grace was a shaky choice for Brock at first, but he pulled it off. Not like he was in it for that long. That's not a spoiler, but come on, when you have so many story arcs to get out on screen in 2.5 hours, you have to balance it all out.

Let's just say that Firm contingent isn't my favourite group of people right now. I don't have all the facts regarding the leak, but my sources are beginning to point me in the right direction and all I need to do is talk about it. Which is tough. Bunch of Children. I'm craving an adult dialog but I'm not going to get that. That's a theme in my life. Maybe I don't even know what makes mature conversation.

I tried to get a haircut today. Patricia moved away. You know, I would have  gotten a cut anyway, but the barbers there seemed way too happy when they gave me the news. Saint and I are going to track Patricia down. Apparently a salon(Or barbershop) is required to tell a client where a former staff member is working so the client can follow the barber. Saint knows her hair business.

Work later today. Way later, at 7:30. The Lt. is back on Monday. He'll make all the work problems right again. He just has to. If not, I don't know what else I can do right now.

Done.

-Cleric

*Pulling a Portman is becoming really whiny and annoying in the 3rd movie where in the last two you were pretty cool.

"Little Triggers"-May 8th, 2007-1:29

So, apparently I'm working tomorrow morning. I don't think I've ever worked a Tuesday morning in my "career*."

Oh, I should back up.

Staci wondered if I could take her open shift tomorrow due to family coming into town. Only Staci would use the terms "hanging out" and "grandpa" in the same phrase. Yes, I know we've worked on this and said our peace but that doesn't mean I can't find her amazing**. When she showed Lucas her Serenity tat on Saturday I almost passed out simply because it involved rolling up her pants and undoing her knee high boots in one motion. I didn't pass out because I was working. I gain resistance to Mez*** effects while working. It's an inherent power.

J....Jenny got facebook a while ago and found me a few days ago. Notice I can use her first name again. Oh, both twins added me on facebook almost simultaneously. Which is hilarious in itself. I wish I could say either of them has changed since high school but I'd be lying. She's still probably a Lonely Girl and...Well, Kevin is just Kevin. One would assume I'd get to know him better during that period I had a thing for his sister. Nope. That's way too logical. I just kept Saint from jumping him. She was in an odd mood at the time. Weren’t we all?

Dani changed her profile picture and I keep trying to figure out where I went wrong and what I can do to get back on that horse. Operation: Slow Pony is in its planning stage. That is a better name than California.

There, those are the three topics I couldn't talk about on Facebook yesterday.

Oh Snap! Did Mark and I actually start think-tanking his fiction today and get work done? Snap! We did! Though, my comment regarding the ethnic diversification of his crew he took a little too far. Even I was a little hurt when he had to change the last name of the Chief Medical Officer. Mark wanted her to have a calming name....Dubord was my suggestion.

I should end that one before it becomes creepy...ier. Creepier. If I know these things are creepy, does that makes me better or worse?

You be the judge!

This had to be part of the 300 Group.

Done? Done. I'm going to go...think about Amy Acker. Sure, that sounds like fun!

-Cleric

*Ewww, but it’s sound better than “in my entire job”

** “Amazing” may be too strong a word, but it’s close.

***CoH thing.

"No Action"-May 9th, 2007-1:42

I'm not regretting taking Staci's opening shift today, but god forid I open a Tuesday again. Give me a Friday/Saturday night chaotic close any day. I wasn't trained to do morning things like PVing, receiving and major wireless sales.

I swear, more crazy people come out during the day. Like the guy who got angry at me because we didn't have the movie he put on hold at the "other guys." He was positive he called us. I'm able to admit when I'm wrong, but I wasn't. Ass.

Other than that, it was boring as SHIT.

Honestly, I don't know how Staci does it. She must open more than she closes. Recent shifts not withstanding.

I have to remember this is a secure channel again.

By the way, I don't think I made it clear yesterday, but it wasn't just the boots and the movement, it was fact Staci has the symbol for Serenity Tattooed on her ankle. Comedy/Tragedy mask on the small of her back too. I know there's one more.

I don't date because I am undatable but I can"crush" like a bandit.

Wow. People I don't know have joined the Nicole deBoer group I made on Facebook. So far it was just Mark and Britany. Nice!

Day off today which will probably be spent getting out of my terrible CoH debt and make those last few bubs to 41 and mastery powers. Woo. Hey, is there a 5th debt badge? I should look into that...and stay of out Recluse Victory. It's only fun when you have a heavy and I never get there in time to get one. The I run into the one Villian Stalker with 2.

Bastard!

I can picture myself in a relationship with Staci, but I can't picture Staci in a relationship with me. Yeah, I don't get it either. Operation Slow Pony should put Staci back into the role as trusted friends up there with Saint, Omar, Mark in that order. Since all my other ops have failed, I shouldn't count on anything though.

Done? Yeah. Bed. I should have rented something and not missed House.

"This Year's Girl"-May 11th, 2007-5:48

I wonder what CoH arena battles are like? No debt for PvP stuff though.

Mini-shift today. Staci was on at 6:30 so it was only an hour and a half of that. Saint came over, we rented/watched "The Fountain." Staci called later and we all had dinner. In reality, I shouldn't have gone. I'm not strong enough yet, but I made due.

The jury is still out if Staci found out on her own or Britany told her. I don't care, but everyone else does.

Either Staci is the biggest tease this side of Dani(Oh, Burn) or she's as damaged as she is beautiful. That's a good House line to take.

I don't think Staci is a tease. Or Dani for that matter. A tease has to know what they're doing. Neither of them do. Well, Staci doesn't. Dani? Meh.

No, that's it. I'm tired.

"Pump It Up"-May 12th, 2007-2:06

Minishift at work, but the Till Horse was in full gear. I run in a vain attempt to be a force multiplier and effectively be two places at ones time. I have to to pick up on the slack of some others. As of now, No one gets a Till Pass. I can't do 150 transactions in 5 hours. My God, that's 30 every hour....that's not possible. Well, average two minutes for a "simple" transaction and I could see it.

Sweet, here come a good segway. In the "Thing a Week" Podcast for my main man John Coulton, he claimed that he finds Office crushes:

"sweet, I think because offices are a lot like highschool and that's the best time to have a crush."

I don't need a time for I am the Crushing Bandit!

That's the single worst hero name I've ever come up with.

Of course, I don't work in an office...

Anyway, i actually found myself sighing when Staci left today. A whole body draining type of sad sigh. Yes, that's lame. Even for me. Saint and I fully agreed that "Drinking with You" soundtracked nicely with that Party at Brett's. Well, not the whole night.

If I keep that title pattern up, I'm not going to run out for a while. If I see House on Tuesday I can call it "Alison." Nice! I know!

Elvis Costello is still my Hero.

Saint is up there too. She managed to find Patricia after getting stonewalled at her last employer (They didn't like Patricia because everyone was going to her) and calling most of the salons in the area. It is a little out of the way, I just hope I'm not going to have to pay 50 dollars for a haircut. Even I find that pretentious. I could still afford it(a few less coffees here and there) and yes, a Patricia haircut is worth it...but 50? We'll see.

The Lt. is back and life at work is glorious. However they are going to redeploy him back east to training other officers for a couple weeks.

Bastards.

I don't want to be there when he tells the Sarge. I've never seen the Sarge angry, but I probably don't want to.

Anything else? Nope.

"Such Unlikely Lovers"-May 13th, 2007-3:32

3 bubs from 42. I thought the Malta Gunslingers were tough until I came face to face with lvl 45 Knives of Artemus. So...Many...Caltrops! I'm still happy these 43+ lvl teams allow themselves to draft a lowly 41 blaster. Though, RoA does do it's job very well.

Mum and Co. ordered the Futon today. Finally, the games room will have proper seating by Tuesday.

Pyro didn't get mum anything for mothers day. I don't think she excepts him to anymore. I copped out and got her mugs, but she likes them so I shouldn't feel THAT bad about it.

I've been trying to come up with a weapon Staci can bring to the showing of "28 Week Later" that:

a) she actually owns
b) she can actually wield as an "effective" weapon
c) she won't get arrested for presenting in public

Cheese grater keeps coming up. I should buy her a Shaolin Spade . A little one...she's not tall enough to wield one effectively.

Saint is covered with her Boken. Mark has a lightsabre. I have my cricket bad and stripped red tie.

God I hope I don't get arrested. We are going to a late showing, right guys?

...Maybe it takes a movie jockey to see how cool it is dressing up as Shaun going to see "28 weeks Later." Saint is going as something punk. Staci described what she was going to wear. I can't repeat it. I'd get too excited. I think Saint suggested it on purpose so Staci would break out her "leather" stuff.

(sigh) There's a little part in my brain screaming that I should tell her how I feel. There's another screaming "Just have Sex with her!" That's the part I hope is being killed by CoH.

I hope I don't get arrested. It's just a cricket bat. Of course, my cricket bat defines "weapon" simply because I own one to smack people/things with it and cause as much damage as possible. If I played cricket it wouldn't be a problem.
