I have to admit, adding Inquisitor Lords and Sisters of Battle to Leman Russ Demolisher Tanks and Sentinel Walkers is a hoot.
Henchmen four pack is on order. I just need to add a dedicated Inquisition Chimera and actual Inquisitional Stormtroopers. This will be way later on down the road since with my current forces I can field a number of awesome combination with either the Guard assisting an Inquisitor or The Inquisitor assisting a Guard Unit. The Witch Hunters are a character driven unit where every single model in the army has a story...unlike the Guard where it's "Meatshield 1 through 9."
The only guard with any character are The Last Chancers....and those guys(and that one girl) are pretty awesome despite always been outnumbered(Guard? Really?!) and outgunned.
Mum's birthday certificates went towards a demolisher, a squad of battle sisters, 2 walkers and a 4 pack of henchmen...well, that's what mum got me and a little more.
Clone Wars? Well, it was going great until the (sigh) whiny animated Natalie Portman showed up. Come on, it even had her little cute mole on the left side of her cheek near her ear. And my God...it didn't even have a scrawl! It had a bad B Movie narrator reading a scrawl! What kind of Star Wars movie do you think this is George?
The Clone Troopers were the best part of the whole thing. Captain Rex and Commander Cody. Rex was probably in the original cartoon since I never saw another Special Forces Clone Captain(With the blue armor trim) carry two blaster pistols. Commander Cody was already awesome until the end of Sith...but everything sucked at the end of Sith...even (sigh) Natalie Portman.
Verdict? Wait until DVD and make sure you see the actually Clone Wars cartoon by the animated genius Genndy Tartakovsky. I might have to watch Closer or Garden State to clear my pallet.
Speaking of short hair girls apparently it's near impossible for Brother Mark and I to live up to Staci's expectations. Well, that's not true...I did my job just fine. It's not my responsibility to check the emails for POP amendments...whatever that means. She still manages to drive me crazy in both a positive and negative way at the same time. I'm going to leave it at that.
Today is day two of my two concurrent days off. I need new jeans and possibly a single new sweater option. Pyro wants new shoes and he wants to see Pineapple Express...which Saint saw a couple days ago with Shawna, but Saint will drop by later in the day. Probably...Maybe...well, that's what she said....and it's likely she'll show up on a day when she said she'd show up...kinda.
I have to admit some days are worse that others. It's not about work, nor Staci or the countless other things I should be worrying about...just somedays I am not ok. Some days I am.
But Grace is Gone. It's suppose to be a great John Cusak movie, but it also means I'm going to working twice as hard. We're suppose to be getting two new guys in the next week or so..., well...an old guy and a new guy...but that's still two people that can work when I can't...which should be often since I'm losing my edge because I don't care anymore....yet I do care...due to my misguided/misplaced sense of honor and duty....
Oh...Lunch with the Aunts wasn't that bad. Even Pyro was surprised. What surprised me what I was thumbing through a knitting book she had and sort of getting turn on by all the pretty girls(only girls in the book) in pretty scarves, hats and fingerless gloves. I think I have to get my winter clothing fetish looked into...but if you think about it...Scarf sex sounds pretty cool.
Done? done...Done. I've been up for way too long.
